This project was a full-scale landscape renovation completed from start to finish in just three weeks. The goal was to correct long-term drainage issues, modernize the property’s layout, and create a cohesive, low-maintenance outdoor environment that blends structure, greenery, lighting, and pet-friendly functionality.

The scope began with full excavation and removal of outdated landscape materials, including rock, fabric, vegetation, and select trees. The entire property was then regraded using imported backfill and topsoil to properly direct water away from the home. A permanent Schedule 40 PVC drainage system was installed, burying all downspouts—including a run beneath the sidewalk—to eliminate surface water issues and protect the foundation long-term.

Over 89 new plants, shrubs, and trees were installed throughout the property, featuring layered perennials, ornamental grasses, flowering shrubs, evergreens, and statement tree forms. All beds were amended with cotton burr compost, equipped with subsurface drip irrigation, and finished with commercial-grade weed fabric, slate rock, aluminum edging, and flagstone accents for a clean, timeless look.

A dedicated pet turf dog run was constructed with proper base prep, drainage stone, and premium artificial turf designed for durability, comfort, and easy maintenance. Two custom retaining walls were built—one to stabilize the area around the AC unit and another to create a smooth elevation transition from the back patio into the turf space.

The project also included a full upgrade to LED landscape lighting. Existing fixtures were removed and replaced with a professionally designed low-voltage system to highlight plantings, improve nighttime visibility, and elevate the overall ambiance of the property.
